Located at the end of the main street, just before you hit the slopes, opened it's doors 11 years ago. Over the years we refined the European style bakery to what it is now: a bakery and coffee shop that strives to have the best quaility possible. That's why we make our own hot chocolate with Dutch imported cocoa, milk and whipped cream, coffee from Italian Lavazza espresso and baked goods with real butter or olive oil and the freshest ingredients possible.
We open our doors daily at 8:00 am and close at 5:00pm, with some evening openings on Saturday, for intimate dining. Bugaboos offers a wide variety of freshly baked goods for breakfast and lunch, warm iteams such as soups, paninis, sausage rolls and meat pies. During the apres ski, we server wine and beer as well as alcoholic coffees and hot chocolate. this goes really well with our pastries and desserts.
Because Bugaboos has only 50 seats, it fills up fast over the lunch rush, so it is advisable to come for an early or late lunch. If you don't know where to find Bugaboos Bakery Cafe just follow your nose, there is a big chance that we are just baking our award winning apple strudel or cinnamon buns. The Lord Aberdeen Market is located in the centre of the village in the Lord Aberdeen Hotel. The store carries a full line of Groceries: fresh produce, baking, meat & fish, cheeses & dairy. Liquor Services: specialty wines, local microbrew beers and local wines. Gift Foods: Canadian maple syrup, condiments & preserves made in BC. Our opening hours vary throughout the year, but when the winter season is in full swing our hours are 9 am to 9 pm daily (except Christmas and New Years when the hours are 10 am to 6 pm). The store has a very successful delivery service which is accessible either by our online shopping service www.lordaberdeen.com or by fax (250) 542-1190. We do not take orders over the phone. The fee for the service either way is $20.00. We can also shop for specialty items for the customer for a $10.00 fee.
