World’s Largest Snowball Unveiled at Silver Star for Family Day

Silver Star Mountain Resort has created the world’s largest snowball for B.C.’s first Family Day. At 3.6 metres tall and weighing in at 18,000 kilograms, the snowball surpasses the previous record by 1.5 metres.

Winter Carnival Shenanigans!
Feb 4, 2013 by Don KassaGo Don! The Winter Carnival Cops showed up at the Silver Star Office this morning and arrested Don on some trumped up charge (!) and threw him in the cage. He's a great sport, though, and raised almost $600 for the Winter Carnival Society before they released him. If you were there and took photos....we'd love to see them!
